Keith Hufnagel grew up skateboarding the streets of New York City. A move to San Francisco in 1992 to pursue this passion allowed him to become a professional skateboarder and travel the world. Hufnagel’s experience was both unique and rewarding, and his ability to blend his inspirations from all of the cultures around him would lead to further success. The HUF store opened in August 2002 in San Francisco and brought together well-respected streetwear, footwear, and skateboarding apparel. The store became so popular that Hufnagel was inspired to turn HUF into its own label of skateboarding lifestyle apparel and footwear. The brand currently has its headquarters in Los Angeles.
